These terms govern access to and use of Vask as a digital marketplace platform.

Vask is a digital marketplace platform that enables users to buy, sell, request, and discover products and services across India.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Vask, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and the Vask Privacy Policy.

Platform Overview & Intermediary Status

Vask operates as an intermediary under Section 2(1)(w) and Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000. Vask does not own or sell products, process payments, or act as a broker, dealer, logistics provider, payment gateway, or escrow provider.

Vask:

  • Does not initiate transmissions
  • Does not select receivers of transmissions
  • Does not modify information transmitted through the platform
  • Does not own, purchase, sell, store, or deliver products listed by users

Transactions occur solely between users at their own risk.

Eligibility

Users must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be legally capable of entering contracts
  • Provide accurate and complete information

Account Registration & Security

Users are responsible for:

  • Password security
  • OTP confidentiality
  • Activity conducted through their account

Users shall not:

  • Create fake accounts
  • Impersonate others
  • Use fraudulent identities

Vask reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in fraud, impersonation, abuse, unlawful conduct, or policy violations.

User Verification Disclaimer

Vask does not independently verify all users, listings, ownership claims, licenses, qualifications, or identities. Any verified badge or indicator reflects only limited checks and does not guarantee legitimacy or authenticity.

Listings, Requests & Storefronts

Users are responsible for the accuracy of listings, the legitimacy and ownership of products, and compliance with applicable laws when posting listings, requests, or storefront information.

Transactions, Payments & Safety

Vask does not process or facilitate payments between users and is not responsible for fraud, payment disputes, delivery issues, or product quality. Users should avoid advance payments to unknown users, never scan a QR code to receive money, and meet in safe public locations where possible.

Vask is not responsible for losses caused by scams, fake payment screenshots, or fraudulent transactions.

Prohibited Activities

Users must not create fake accounts, impersonate others, sell illegal goods, promote scams or fraud, share harmful links or malware, upload unlawful content, or engage in harassment, abuse, or threats on the platform.

Complete Prohibited Items & Activities Policy

The following are strictly prohibited on Vask:

  • Illegal goods such as drugs, narcotics, weapons, ammunition, explosives, human organs, and wildlife products
  • Financial fraud such as fake currency, counterfeit products, stolen goods, forged documents, illegal SIM cards, unlawfully obtained bank accounts, crypto scams, and Ponzi schemes
  • Restricted goods such as alcohol, tobacco products, vapes, e-cigarettes, and prescription medicines
  • Adult and offensive content such as pornographic material, escort services, obscene content, and hate speech
  • Dangerous materials such as hazardous chemicals, toxic substances, and prohibited fireworks
  • Digital abuse such as malware, hacking tools, spam software, and phishing kits

The above list is not exhaustive. Any item, service, activity, transaction, or conduct that is unlawful, prohibited, restricted, or otherwise in violation of any applicable Indian law, regulation, rule, or governmental order is strictly forbidden on Vask.

Users engaging in such activities may have their accounts suspended or terminated, and Vask reserves the right to report suspected unlawful or criminal activity to the appropriate authorities.

Vask reserves the right to remove any listing at its sole discretion.

User Generated Content License

Users retain ownership of their uploaded content.

By posting content on Vask, users grant Vask a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, distribute, modify for formatting purposes, and promote such content in connection with operating the platform.

Content Moderation Policy

Vask reserves the right to monitor, review, moderate, remove, restrict, or disable content or accounts that violate laws, promote fraud or scams, endanger users, infringe intellectual property rights, or contain abusive or unlawful material. Automated systems, human review, and user reports may all be used in moderation decisions.

Repeat offenders may be permanently banned.

Moderation, Suspension & Enforcement

Vask reserves the right to remove content, restrict accounts, suspend users, or permanently terminate accounts for fraudulent conduct, illegal activity, repeated policy violations, platform abuse, or safety risks.

Community Guidelines

Users shall:

  • Treat others respectfully
  • Avoid harassment and hate speech
  • Avoid threats and abusive behavior
  • Avoid spam and misleading content

Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind.

Vask does not guarantee:

  • User authenticity
  • Product quality
  • Successful transactions
  • Continuous platform availability

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, Vask, JJS Technologies, its founders, affiliates, employees, representatives, licensors, and service providers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or financial damages arising from use of the platform, user-generated content, listings, transactions, third-party interactions, offline meetings, fraudulent activity, or service interruptions.

Since Vask acts solely as an intermediary technology platform and does not participate in transactions between users, all interactions and transactions occur entirely at users' own risk.

Intellectual Property

All logos, branding, designs, software, and platform materials are owned by or licensed to Vask and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws. Unauthorized copying, reproduction, distribution, or use is prohibited.

Indemnity

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vask, JJS Technologies, its founders, affiliates, employees, and representatives from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, penalties, and legal expenses arising from violation of platform policies, illegal conduct, fraudulent activities, or intellectual property violations.

Law Enforcement Cooperation

Vask may preserve, disclose, or provide user information where legally required for law enforcement investigations, court orders, government requests, or fraud prevention.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms and policies are governed by the laws of India. Courts located in Goa, India have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from the use of the platform.
